Working One-on-One has many benefits
There are a number of reasons you might wish to consider private yoga sessions.
* Some individuals are interested in applying yoga more therapeutically to address specific injuries; to continue post-op/post-injury rehabilitation with deeper body awareness; to befriend a body traumatized by illness or injury; or to learn alternative ways for managing conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety or depression, sleep disturbances, fibromyalgia, cancer treatment and recovery, and other challenges which impact overall quality of life.
* Beginners use private sessions to become more familiar with the overall practice, to develop a stronger breathing practice, or to work on alignment details prior to or when beginning to attend group classes.
* Some individuals are interested in developing a home practice of yoga poses, breathing, and/or meditation, or wish to put together a personal practice they can take on the road while traveling.
* More experienced practitioners want one-on-one instruction in order to work more confidently with certain postures, particularly more challenging arm balances or inversions.
