My classes at Hot Yoga are breath-centric, alignment-focussed vinyasa classes taught in a moderately warm room, typically around 84 degrees.  My goal is to accommodate all levels of practice in each class.  Please bring a towel and some water or you can rent/purchase at the studio.  If you are worried about the heat, contact me in advance at samayoga@mac.com and we can talk about it.

 Yoga Nidra

The practice of Yoga Nidra (sometimes called yogic sleep or sleep with awareness) resembles a guided meditation, leading practitioners to a state of intensely relaxed awareness to support a more positive state of health.  In working through multiple layers of consciousness from the external physical body, to deeper, more subtle layers of sensation, emotions and feelings, yoga nidra is an effective tool to support much needed healing and renewal of the body, the mind and the spirit.  Suitable for all.  

Bring your own mat, and possibly a soft blanket and pillow as you will be lying on the floor for the hour.  If you are unable to lie comfortably on the floor, you may choose to practice while seated in a chair.

Dress comfortably and warmly.  

Cost:  $15 per person
